How does file-storage work? How much storage is included?
ClientTable will link directly to your choice of storage: Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, or Dropbox. Files added to your portal by any user are stored directly in your storage drive. This direct integration allows you to maintain your internal document workflow, and desktop sync, with your preferred storage solution.
ClientTable doesn’t provide storage space, you may purchase additional storage directly from your provider.
Client users are not made aware of the underlying storage solution.
How does the file-sharing functionality work?
File-sharing is handled through your portal. Each client can access only their shared folder. You can share files, documents and photos by adding it to the client’s folder in the portal.
Sharing a file in your portal does not share it through your connected drive. For example, if your connected storage is Google Drive, and you share a file with a client in the portal, that file is not available to the client through Google Drive’s interface.
Client users are not made aware of the underlying storage solution.
